Marina is Project Director at PIDES Social Innovation, which seeks to make communities more open, sustainable and inclusive solving urban problems through citizen empowerment and the strategic use of technology. She co-facilitates the Open Government Platform in Mexico City and implements several case studies on this subject in cities.

She worked at the Colegio de Jalisco in the journal Intersticios Sociales and in Jalisco Cómo Vamos monitoring quality of life in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara. Marina has a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO).sionate about solving the problem of mobility in Mexican cities struggling in the office and on the streets.
